Excellent Care: This hospital is awesome! If you have large animals, Dr Mages is the best veterinarian we have seen. They have inside pens for horses and cattle. They are very reasonably priced too! You can count on them 24 hours a day.

Brought my sick Cocker Spaniel in and not only did she receive excellent care, but the doctor was very gentle with her and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and why. They even did a follow-up call in about to week to see how she was doing. Excellent service. Thank you.

Dr. Mages and Dr. Erwin both are approved by our herd..it really takes something for a VET to be approved by our stallion..

THE best place I have ever taken my animals. It is not often that a dog just LOVES to go see the vet. Dr. Lancaster is awesome! Very thorough and I agree with Julie, he has a very special touch. Cottonwood was there for us during the flood of 2007, I do not know what I would have done without them. Constance/Paola

On July 4, 2008 Dr. Lancaster was on duty I was from out of town. Our Chihuahua was attacked by a Mastiff. He survived!!! Our dog has fully recovered, back to being himself. He thinks he dominates the world again! Thank you Dr. Lancaster!!!! Geronimo runs again! Toni & John/Olathe

May 10, 2010 Stopped by to just check out boarding rates. Very impressed with staff and building. Very, very clean. While checking about boarding rates, I was asked if I would like to check out their boarding area. Was given tour of the boarding area, and was very impressed with how clean and roomy the area was. Rates maybe a"little" higher than others in the Ottawa area, but WELL worth it.
We went here for the first time today & we had a great experience. We actually didn't plan on going here originally but we are really glad we did. We drove from KC all the way to Ottawa with a carload of dogs & cats just to find out the vet we usually go to was on vacation with no notice, so we asked someone in town if there was another vet and they highly recommended Cottonwood Animal Hospital. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised and very impressed by their office! It is by far the nicest one I have ever seen, the staff is really nice and took the time to explain and answered all of our questions. I think this was also the first vet I have ever been to were the dogs and cats were not freaked out, they were very relaxed and I could tell they felt ...
